“Old Hollywood” is the theme for this year’s Atwood-Hammond Homecoming to be held on September 23 and 24.
Chosen by the students as Homecoming King and Queen Candidates are Phil Irace, Dylan Helfrich, and Corey Garret and Abby Bialeschki, Elaine Davis, and Paige DeLong.
Representing their classes as Attendants are freshmen Alyssa McArthur and Christopher Davis; Sophomores Kaitie Wildman and Jordan Feagin; Juniors Natalie Chesnut and Austin Dean; and Seniors Hunter Hale and Tyler VanVleet.
Chosen as Flower Girl is Kaylee Thompson and Crown Bearer is Brody Louden.
Throughout the week the students will be participating in several various activities including dress-up days and spirit week games on Friday.
The parade will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 23 with line up beginning at 2:00p.m. The parade will be stopping up-town to preform school songs and announce the 2011 Homecoming Court.
The A-H sports boosters are tailgating pre-game for the South Piatt Wildcat Homecoming Game on Friday from 4:30-6:30p.m. They will be serving a dinner for $7 that includes: ribeye sandwich, chips, desert, and a water or pop to drink. They will also be serving ribeye sandwich for $5 each.
They will be located at the High School by the west parking lot on the back side of the preschool.
Come root our South Piatt Wildcats to Victory against the Arthur-Lovington Knights.
Coronation will begin on Saturday September 24 with the dance immediately following.
